I've been working on a project that I am extremely excited to share. It's taken numerous months of contemplating and preparation, but I'm finally ready to share what I've been working on.

As some of you may know my mother passed away from Duodenal cancer in October of 2013. Duodenal cancer is a very rare cancer that attacks the small intestine, and there is no set cure for this disease. After experiencing this heavy loss, my family and I want to try our best to educate others on Duodenal cancer and potentially put an end to the illness.

While I captured the title of Royal International Miss this past summer, I was also fortunate enough to win the Dream Royal Scholarship to implement a service project. With the help of my family, friends, and the Dream Royal Organization I created the non-profit charity "Everyday Counts Foundation".
Everyday Counts will serve as a platform for others to learn about prevention methods, causes, and treatment options for those suffering or at risk of developing Duodenal Cancer.

My family and I are planning a charity event to be held in late May/June to jump start the non-profit charity Everyday Counts. We plan to raise money and awareness to donate to cancer research on Duodenal cancer. More information on the event will become available very soon. In the mean time you can show your support by liking our Facebook page!
