Hi everyone! Happy Holidays!
I seriously can't believe that Christmas is only 4 days away!!
I put up my Christmas tree up back in November and have enjoyed it ever since. How ironic that I decorate so early, yet leave Holiday shopping until the very last minute haha. I've been running around different malls and boutiques trying to get gifts for my family, friends, and co-workers.
Since there's a little under two weeks left until the New Year - I wanted to talk about goal setting, and being a "Goal - Getter". I've been seeing many posts on Instagram talking about vision boards, and how 2020 is going to be "The year" which is great, but I think we should strive to make every year our best year and work to be a better version of ourselves. I personally make a list of goals that I aim to accomplish every year, sometimes these are goals from previous years that I still haven't accomplished yet. But that's okay, because that just makes me want to achieve that goal even more.
That brings me to the idea of being a "Goal-Getter"
Often times goals are difficult to achieve, but that doesn't mean they're impossible.
In many cases you have to break down doors if you want to walk through them.
For example, this year I wanted to attend many NYFW shows but I was turned down by many designers and companies because I either didn't have enough followers, or there weren't enough tickets available.
That didn't stop me from emailing/dm'ing whoever I can to be able to get tickets.
And I did! in fact, I was able to get invited to a number of shows that I had to turn down some offers because of scheduling conflicts.
This just goes to show what we're capable of achieving as "Goal-Getters"
May your New Year be filled with happiness, health, and tons of Goals!
Until next time.
Xo,
